Madafferi Haulage Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated business situated in the south-east suburbs.
<br>
Since its inception some 40 years ago, Madafferi Haulage has grown from a one man/one truck operation to a successful and stable fleet operation.
<br>
Effective control of the company operation has passed from father to son and all management, maintenance and accounting positions are held by family members. Whilst some may argue against this type of management structure, we believe that this is a major factor in our successes and also believe it lends iteself to a stable and efficient environment within which our company can continue to grow.

Qualifications<br>
We are well established in the industry and have experience in the intra and interstate transportation of freight. We have previously been successful in tow operation services for major larger organisations in Victoria and currently maintain a prime contract arrangement with a Melbourne division of an interstate steel manufacturing company.
<br>
We are experienced in all forms of freight transportation including grocery, beverages, food product, steel concrete, and palletised freight.
<br>
Letters of reference are available if required.
<br>
Management<br>
Angelo and Peter Madafferi, the owner/director and operations manager respectively, have collective experience in the transport industry in excess of 40 years. The "hands on" approach adopted by both Angelo and Peter ensures that the company is up to date with freight movement, client requirements and availability to management for clients.

Company Structure<br>
Madafferi Haulage Pty Ltd is a privately owned fully registered company business and is wholly owned by its two directors. We are registered for GST with the Australian Taxation Office and can provide proper and accurate tax invoices or, alternatively, we will enter into an RCTI Arrangement with you if required.

All vehicles undergo regular maintenance, both mechanical and cosmetic, to ensure a constant supply to our clients and eliminate unnecessary downtime. We also have access to our own mechanical service on a 24 hour basis.

Insurances
We have in place all necesary insurances required including comprehensive vehicle insurance, public liability insurance, goods in transit and trailer in tow insurance. We believe that those insurances are set at appropriate levels.
<br>
We also carry the statutory Workcare cover of all of our employees.
<br>
Certificates of Currency can be supplied on request.
<br>
Drivers<br>
<br>All drivers employed by our company are over the age of 25 with clean driving records. We endeavour to ensure that our drivers maintain high standards in their appearance and attitude to clients and to the job at hand.
<br>
We also require our drivers to produce to us on application:
<br>
(a) a current licence showing all endorsements;
<br>
(b) a current and complete licence history/print out from the appropriate authority:
<br>
(c) references from previous employers (which are checked);
<br>
(d) a completed insurance declaration (provided by us).
<br>
We also firmly believe in allocating specific vehicles and drivers to particular jobs. This ensures a continuity of service both to you as our client and to your customers.
<br>
Rates<br>
Our rates are usually set according to the task at hand. Obviously, should an alliance occur between our two companies, rate structures will need to be discussed at length and prices fixed which suit both parties. However, we believe that we are competitive in today's market.
